Dune Buggy / ATV Escapes

Here in Texas summer is upon us. Flowers are blooming, birds are singing... and, if you're still having ice storms, you hate/envy us. But it's time (or soon will be) to break out summer toys. A friend recently told me that his wallet had gotten wet while he was out with his ATV. I replied that he was lucky he hadn't gone into the lake with the wallet. He replied that the wallet was in his pocket. Fun!!

With names like Bandido ("A Volkswagen with an Accent"), Boss Bug, Clodhopper, Custom Cougar, Desert Rat, Deserter ("So Hot It'll Probably Be Banned in Boston"), Dune Duster (Ann Marie Says... Come Try the Fun Machine"), Fun Buggy, Fun Hugger, Grasshopper, Imp, Leap Frog ("Hops Over Any Terrain"), Minibug, Polywog, PUG, Sand Piper, Superbug and Super Sport, how can you keep but enjoying your weekends and vacations.

Perhaps the following photographs will motivate you to either dust off and check the mechanical workings of your favorite machine. Or check out dune buggy clubs where you can buy a new favorite.
