your needs have changed and we will change with you.
Glancing at the Past
In all the automotive markets - England, France,
Germany, U.S.A., etc., - since the early 1900s, automotive
enthusiasts have gathered up brochures and stored them
for only one reason - they were fascinated with cars.
In the early 1930s, when the world was undergoing a
depression, old, unused automobiles were being stripped
of their valuable steel, brass, copper and aluminum
and then burned and buried. Suddenly many car enthusiasts
recognized the historical significance of these antiques
and began collecting them, their parts and literature.
Car clubs sprang up all over the world for general interest
cars (i.e. Antique Automobile Club of America in 1935)
and for specific makes (i.e. Bentley Drivers Club in
1936).

In 1947 I began picking up literature
as a 3-year-old child and my passion grew. By 1960 I
had a nice collection of car books, brochures, magazines
and models. I had twice won awards from General Motors'
Fisher Body Craftsman's Guild and owned a 1947 Pontiac
- the exact car I stood in front of when I picked up
my first brochure. I also had the promise from my grandmother
of a 1933 Plymouth Coupe. Since it was in 1960 that
I also began buying and selling brochures, I make the
claim of establishing the company at that time which
went from part-time while a geologist to full-time in
1985.
Thanks for all your support of our hobby, me and our
business. We have come a long way and made a lot of
changes over the years. To all our friends and customers
we hope our changes will show you the strength of our
growth with the benefit going to you.
